The Authority Scorecard
For executives spending on personal branding who cannot show anyone what it returned.
Definition
An authority scorecard measures the signals that correlate with business outcomes from personal branding, on a fixed quarterly rhythm against a recorded baseline, so the return can be shown rather than described.
You have been building visibility for a year. Someone asks what it produced. You have a feeling and some screenshots.
The measurement layer nobody sells you. A scorecard that tracks the things personal branding actually moves, on a rhythm, so the answer to what it returned is a document rather than an impression.
What you get
- The scorecard covering signals that correlate with outcomes rather than with engagement
- The attribution method for connecting an inbound opportunity back to what caused it
- A quarterly rhythm, because a number without a comparison means nothing
- The one-page reporting format built for someone who controls budget
The problem
Why this keeps happening
Personal branding has a measurement problem that everyone quietly works around. Follower counts are vanity, impressions are noise, and the outcomes that matter arrive months later through paths nobody traced.
So the spend gets defended with anecdotes. That works until a CFO asks, or until you yourself start wondering whether the hours are worth it.
The measurable signals do exist. They are just not the ones the platforms put on the dashboard, because the platforms are optimising for your engagement, not your business case.
What is The Authority Scorecard?
The Authority Scorecard is an authority scorecard measures the signals that correlate with business outcomes from personal branding, on a fixed quarterly rhythm against a recorded baseline, so the return can be shown rather than described.
A scorecard covering the signals that actually correlate with outcomes, a quarterly measurement rhythm, and a reporting format built to be shown to somebody who controls budget.

How it runs
How does The Authority Scorecard work, step by step?
The Authority Scorecard runs in 5 steps: baseline, instrument, attribute, review, report. Each step is described below with what it produces and why its position in the sequence matters.
- 01
Baseline
Record the starting position across every tracked signal. Everything later depends on this existing.
- 02
Instrument
Set up the small number of things worth counting, and deliberately ignore the rest.
- 03
Attribute
Connect inbound opportunities back to their source, which is the part everyone skips and then regrets.
- 04
Review
Run the quarterly comparison so movement is visible rather than felt.
- 05
Report
Produce the one-page case that survives contact with a finance conversation.

Failure modes
What do people get wrong?
The 4 most common failures are: measuring impressions; no baseline; never asking how they found you; reporting monthly. Each one is explained below with why it happens and what to do instead.
- 01
Measuring impressions
Reach is the easiest number to get and the least connected to revenue.
- 02
No baseline
You cannot demonstrate change from an unknown starting point.
- 03
Never asking how they found you
The single cheapest attribution mechanism, and almost nobody runs it consistently.
- 04
Reporting monthly
The signal is slower than a month. Monthly reporting produces noise and false alarms.

The alternatives
How does The Authority Scorecard compare to the alternatives?
There are three ways to solve this: do it yourself, hire it out, or buy the method. The Authority Scorecard is the third. It costs $25 once, the method stays yours, and you can re-run it without paying again.
| Consideration | Doing it yourself | Hiring it out | This system |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it proves | Very little | Platform activity | Movement against a baseline |
| Cost shape | Free, unconvincing | Monthly SaaS | One payment |
| Includes attribution | No | Rarely | Yes |
| Survives a CFO question | No | Sometimes | Built for it |
| Rhythm | Ad hoc | Real time noise | Quarterly, deliberate |

Questions
Does this connect to my analytics tools?
It is a method, not software. It tells you what to count and how to interpret it, and it works with whatever tools you already have.
How long before there is anything to report?
You get a baseline immediately, which is itself useful. The first meaningful comparison is one quarter later.
Is this just a pack of prompts?
No. A prompt is one instruction. This is a working system: the method, the order, the judgement calls, and the standard for what finished work looks like. You are buying the workflow I run inside a paid engagement.
I am an executive, not an operator. Is this too hands-on?
Each one is built so you can either run it yourself or hand it to whoever does this work for you. The value is that the method is decided, so nobody is improvising on your reputation.
Could I not just ask an AI to do this?
You can ask. You will get a generic answer, because the model does not know what good looks like at a senior level and has no opinion about sequence. That judgement is the product.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Installing it is dragging one file into a folder.
What format do I actually receive?
A working skill file you install once, plus a written companion explaining the method so you can adapt it rather than follow it blindly. It runs inside Claude.
What happens after I click buy?
It opens an email to me, already filled in. I reply with a payment link and send the files the same day. Deliberately human, because I want to know who is using these.
Is there a refund?
Yes. If you use it properly and it does not do what this page said, tell me and I refund you. No argument.
